Alice George is an author, journalist, and scholar. She currently serves on the boards of Alex Lee, INC., Intercultural Journeys, the Historical Society of Pennsylvania and is a Trustee of the Theodore Roosevelt Association. Most recently, she has authored: The Cuban Missile Crisis: The Threshold of Nuclear War, Routledge, March 2013, and The Assassination of John F. Kennedy: Political Trauma and American Memory, Routledge, 2012.

Alice George became a Doctor of Philosophy in 2001 with her fields of expertise in the Cold War Culture/Public History, Philadelphia History, 20th Century American Political History, 20th Century European culture.
